Be one of three members to recruit the most new members this year and have your COA dues paid for 2016! Member-to-member recruitment is the key to recruiting prospective members. Who knows more about the excellent services and benefits that COA provides to its members than an existing member? Moreover, members can easily convey to their colleagues why it’s so important to be a COA member. Membership with the California Optometric Association means that you are part of an organization that adheres to the highest standards of professional ethics, conduct and practices. COA members work towards the advancement of optometry to assure that comprehensive vision and eye health care services provided by doctors of optometry are accessible to the public. A strong membership and a united voice for optometry will ensure that COA will continue to achieve its goals now and into the future!

With the generous support of Vision West, Inc., the top three recruiters during 2015 will have the COA portion of their membership dues for 2016 PAID IN FULL!

Here’s how it works:

COA members may refer new members without regard to their society affiliation. While you are undertaking recruitment efforts, simply have the new member complete a membership application noting that you are the referring member at the top, or have them contact Jodi Haas, COA membership development manager, at 916.266.5038. It’s that easy! COA will track all referrals for the year and will notify the top three recruiters at the beginning of 2016.
