Advocacy Through the Ages – Register for COA Legislative Day on April 20, 2016

When you see one of your patients at their annual check up, do you immediately remember all their issues? No. You look at their chart so you are reminded of their situation. The same is true with lawmakers. They need you to attend COA Legislative Day each year - it is an essential spring event - and remind them about COA's issues. COA members have had to do this for decades to get legislation passed. It worked with DPAs in the 70s, with TPAs in the 90s, and glaucoma in the 2000s. This year, COA will be focused on passing SB 622, COA-sponsored legislation to expand the services you can provide your patients.
