COA Seeks Doctor Help in Fighting Online Refractions

As has been reported numerous times in this newsletter and elsewhere, COA has filed a request with the State Board of Optometry to take action against online refraction websites. Optometry must prevail in this battle and we need your help. Please document case examples of patients who are diagnosed with a serious eye condition that would not have been detected by an online refraction. The simple, interactive form will only take a few moments to complete but will pay huge dividends in the profession’s efforts to gain evidence of potential patient harm with online refraction services.
