Thank you to everyone who attended COA Legislative Day on April 20 in Sacramento. This year's event was a fun celebration of our past successes in expanding the optometric scope of practice over the last four decades. More than 200 doctors and students met with their lawmakers in support of SB 622, COA's legislation to further expand the scope of practice in California. We were excited to hear that this year several lawmakers indicated support for SB 622 during their meetings with doctors and students.
