The Member Media Center (MMC) is a COA member benefit, which offers timely content for members to use in their newsletters and social media. Right now, the MMC is featuring content about Halloween eye safety. Keep in mind, the MMC content is updated regularly, so please check back for new and exciting resources for your practice!

  • Did you know that obtaining contact lenses not prescribed by an eye doc is illegal? Contact lenses are considered medical devices by the FDA. Stay scary and safe this Halloween, get your decorative contacts from an optometrist! https://goo.gl/1IYzrt
  • Keep your children safe this Halloween, avoid masks and other costumes that block vision, instead opt for hypoallergenic makeup - but be sure to keep it away from the eyes! https://goo.gl/EfBjTb
